Funeral services for Edna Roe, 96, of Bay City will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Bay City with Rev. Eric Klimpel officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.

Edna Roe passed away peacefully in her home on February 11, 2007. She was born on September 22, 1910 in Gibbon, MN to Jens and Marie Loftnes Bakke. She married Pete Roe on March 3, 1946 in San Francisco, CA and moved to Bay City in 1947. She was a precious mother and grandmother. She was a very active member with St. Peter Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law: Robert Roe and Paul and Corky Roe of Bay City; by a brother: Einard Bakke of Kensington, MN and a sister-in-law: Daphane Bakke of Alexandria, MN; by her grandchildren: Ross and Kelly Roe, Jason and Mary Lynn Roe and Kelly Roe, all of Bay City, Jody and Melea Roe of Jourdanton, TX, Craig and Lesley Simpson of Bay City, Tully and Rachel Roe of Joshua, TX; and by five great-grandchildren: Carly, Clara Beth, Login, Rylan and Kassidy. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Pete Roe; her parents: Jens and Marie Bakke; by four sisters and two brothers; and by a granddaughter: Kelsey Lynn Roe.

Pallbearers include her four grandson: Jody, Jason, Tully and Ross Roe; Craig Simpson and Larry Roe. Honorary pallbearers include: Bill Krobot and George Agnew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church in her name.
