Earl A. Mickelson, 84, of Bay City, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006. He was born June 23, 1922 in El Campo to Charlie Mickelson and Anna Christina Lindblom Mickelson. He was a resident of Bay City since 1957, a retired Interstate Trucker, and was a WW-II veteran of the US Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife: Doris L. Bullard Mickelson of Bay City; by his daughters and sons-in-law: Gail & Tommy Saunders and Barbara & Ronnie Bose, all of Bay City; by his grandchildren and their spouses: Shawn L. & Lori Bose of Boiling, Nicole & Eric O'Neal of Bay City, and Tiffany Saunders & Nicole Velebil of Bay City; and by his great grandchild: Madison O'Neal of Bay City. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Anna Christina Mickelson; his sister: Pearl Robertson; and his brothers: Wilbert, Herbert, & Howard Mickelson.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 9 PM Saturday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM Saturday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Grave Side funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck with Rev. Eric Klimpel officiating.
