Obituary
Hubert Earl Foster, 73, of Markham, TX passed away December 3, 2014. He was born January 5, 1941 in Young County, Texas to the late Thomas Hugh Foster and Lena Bell Barker Foster.
Earl was a decorated combat veteran during the Vietnam Era and received many medals including the "Distinguished Flying Cross." He left the Army with the rank of Captain. He was a Green Beret and in the 101st Airborne Division. He also was a retired Captain with Eastern Airlines and a rancher and farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Foster and grandson T. J. Foster.
Survivors include daughter Shelley Foster Stitchler, son Hubert Earl "Troup" Foster II; brothers Jean Alvin Foster & wife Seglinda and Thomas Hugh Foster & wife Ann; grandchildren Ean Foster and Stephanie Rene Flores and great grandchildren Eanna Brenn Foster, Jaslene Navae Pittman and Jaivyn Rachad Pittman.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 8, 2014 at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing, TX.
