Dwight "Butch" Seeley Kientz, Jr. 65, of Bay City, passed away October 13, 2016. He was born December 10, 1950 in Brownsville, Texas to Dwight Seeley Kientz and Betty Hamby Kientz.

Dwight proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Eva Lawson Kientz; daughters Lisa Diane Doehrman (Josh) of Cuero, Shanna Lorilee Stasny (Kyle) of Victoria and Sarah Beth Brown (Clifton) of Midfield; sister Kathy Walters of Houston; brother Calvin Kientz of Bay City; grandchildren Trevor Fisher (Maci), Drew Williamson, Shelby Goslin, C.J. Brown and Colt Brown; great-granddaughter Kaylee Fisher; and lifelong friend Phillip Juranek.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 1:00pm Monday, October 17, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Monday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Matt Springfield officiating. VFW Honors and Matagorda County Cavalry services to follow at Hawley Cemetery.
