It is with great sadness that the family of Dudley Mark McMillin announce his sudden passing on October 25, 2024, at the age of 66.

Mark was born May 22, 1958, in Big Spring, Texas to Dudley Keith McMillin and Betty Margaret Smiley McMillin. After graduating from high school, Mark enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  Following his active-duty military service, he began a civilian career with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command while continuing to serve in the Air National Guard. Throughout his career, he received numerous honors, including the prestigious Order of St. Michael Medal.

Outside of his work in aviation, Mark was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR.  He also enjoyed bowling with his family and working on cars, with his 1991 Jaguar XJS being his favorite.

He was preceded in death by his mother.  Survivors include his wife, Lorraine McMillin; his father Dudley Keith McMillin; his son Matthew Alexander McMillin and wife Tamson Kimberly McMillin; his sister Laura Rumans and husband Todd Rumans and grandchildren Owen McMillin and Lauren McMillin.

Burial service and celebration of life information are to be announced.
