Dorothy Faye "Dottie" Wilson, 84, of Cedar Lane passed away September 13, 2019. She was born August 5, 1935 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to the late Henry "Lafe" Lafayette Noland and Rose Louise Sanders Noland.

She was a longtime member of Cedar Lane Baptist Church. One of her outstanding traits was that she literally "never met a stranger". She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking, especially her favorite Beans and Cornbread and reading the Bible. Spending time with her children and grandchildren, and worshiping her Lord were the things that made her happy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Loren "Allen" Wilson, daughter Tina Dudley, son Leroy A. T. Wilson and brothers George Noland and Jerry Noland.

Survivors include daughters Paula Rady (Kevin of Burnet, TX, Debbie Price (A. J.) of Baytown, TX, Rose Currie (Rick) of Beaumont, TX, Rita Russo (Gene) of Willis, TX, Bonnie Wilson (Ken) of Kansas and Lorie Warnock (Ron) of Cedar Lane, TX; sisters Sharon Box of Ashland, MS and Brenda Blackard of Southaven, MS and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with her church family.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Monday, September 16, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
