Dorothy Mae Wigginton, 75, of Palacios passed away January 25, 2008. She was born December 31, 1932 in Shiner, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Louis & Rosie Ann McArthur; husband Durward Allen Wigginton, Sr;; daughter Evalana Murphy & grandchildren Annie Mae White & Jeffrey Reynolds. Survivors include daughters Sandra Swire of Lolita, TX; Carolyn White & husband Earl of Palacios, Elizabeth Cowart of Palacios, Debra Meyers & husband Tommy of Bonifay, FL, Donna Reynolds & husband Dean of Arlington, TX & Candace Wigginton of Willis, TX; son Billy Wigginton & wife Kari of Sugarland, TX; sisters Evelyn Martin of Houston and Margie Hagendorf of Weimer; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 30.2008 at the First Baptist Church in Palacios with James Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Texas; 605 E. Locust Ave.; Victoria, TX 77901.
