Dorothy Lee Walls, 84, of Palacios, passed away on November 29, 2017. She was born on March 16, 1933 in Palacios, Texas to Joe and Katie Banyansco Zaro.
Dorothy was a mother-figure to many people in Palacios. She loved riding her bicycle and will be greatly missed.
Dorothy is survived by her son Curtis Walls; sister Mary Jane Walls and brother Jesse James Zaro. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Marion Curtis Walls; her son Merlin Tex Walls; sister Annie Marie Zaro; brothers Joe Zaro and Nick Zaro and her great-grandson Sunny Rodriguez Walls.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00-8:00p.m. Sunday at Palacios Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2:00p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Palacios Cemetery with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating.
