Dorotea "Thea" Galvan Longoria, 82, of Blessing, passed away December 29, 2019. Thea was born on August 5, 1937 in Laferia, TX to  Sostenes and Fransisca Gonzales Galvan.

Thea was the rock of the family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Thea loved to cook for her family and friends. She adored children, and was called upon to babysit many, many times. Thea loved tending to her flowers in her garden. She will be greatly missed.

Thea is survived by her loving family. Children Natividad  Longoria lll, and Norma Zavala and husband Jose; grandchildren Felicia Zavala, Becky Magana and husband Jose, Jeannette Zavala, Natalie Prado and husband Moises, and Natividad Longoria lV and wife Kate; great-grandchildren Desiree, Adam, Makyla, Fabian, Joselynn,  Jose V and Natividad V. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 55 years, Natividad Longoria, Jr; her twin sister Desideria Tovar, and brothers Jose Galvan, Juan Galvan, and Bartolo Dominguez.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. Friday, January 3 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M. The Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Gabriel Mensah celebrant and Fr. Samuel Appiasi con-celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.
