Doris Lou Wilks, 73, passed away June 1, 2014. She was born August 17, 1940 in Bay City, TX to the late Ollie Falks and Charlotte Holloway Falks. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Wilks.

Survivors include daughter Teresa Gibbs & David Hall; sons Steve Wilks & Sybil O'Neal and Michael Wilks & Cassie Crochet; sister Dolores Harvey; brothers Ollie Falks and Edward Falks; grandchildren SPC. Brian Tatum, A. J. Tatum, Kristina Nance, Erica Nichole Willfong, Richard Horton, Katherine Wilks, Edward Wayne Wilks, Christina Eileen Wilks, Kelly Elizabeth Wilks, Ryan Day, Lisa Ray and 14 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 6, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Richard Evanicky, Jamie Evanicky, Robbie Evanicky, Billy Bundick, David Bundick, Steve Roberts, SPC. Brian Tatum and A.J. Tatum.
