Doris Lorraine Mickelson went to be with her Lord May 7, 2019 at the age of 95. She was born December 14, 1923 in El Campo, TX to the late Helen Ammann Bullard and Clifford Bullard.

She was a well-known hair dresser in Bay City for many years. She loved to travel when she was young, in the later years, she crocheted and loved painting and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Earl A. Mickelson; daughter: Barbara Bose; sister: Delores Turpin; 3 brothers: Alton Ray, Charles, and Edgar Bullard; and son-in-law: Tommy Saunders.

Survivors include daughter: Gail Saunders; brother: Bobby Bullard; son-in-law: Ronnie Bose; 3 grandchildren: Nicole O'Neal & Eric, Tiffany Saunders & Caitlin, and Shawn Bose & Lori; 3 great grandchildren: Madison O'Neal, Luke Bose, and Reese Bose.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Chaplain Bob Hobbins officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Bose, Shawn Bose, Eric O'Neal, and Tiffany Saunders.
