Doris Lillian Heidrich, 80, of Van Vleck passed away Nov. 15, 2008. She was born April 24, 1928 in Witting, TX to the late Alfred & Lillian Pietsch Hildebrandt. She had worked in the Cafeteria for Bay City ISD for many years and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Her husband William Heidrich preceded her in death in 1965. Survivors include daughters & their spouses Patsy & David Allen of Houston, Bonnie Jones of El Campo, Peggy & Emil Vaculin of Blessing, Arlene & "Cookie" Koch of Van Vleck, Grace & Clifton Lowery of Van Vleck and Jane & Randy Cole of Midland; son Glen & Betty Heidrich of Bay City; brother Gordon Hildebrandt of Witting, TX; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 7pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at the Witting Cemetery in Witting, Texas. Pallbearers will be Carl "Cookie" Koch, Clifton Lowery, Emil Vaculin, Randy Cole, Bobby Heidrich & Steven Jones. Glen Heidrich will serve as honorary pallbearer.
