Doretta Lacina, 91, of Brazoria went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born January 11, 1921 in Wisner, LA to the late Henry & Molly Hubbard Street. Doretta loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Dee Taylor & husband John and Rhonda Weathers; daughter-in-law: Shirley Harvell; 8 grandchildren: Jake Taylor & girlfriend Courtnie, Stacey Weathers & husband George, Eric Weathers & wife Scarlet, Josh Weathers & wife Kara, Bryan Lacina & wife Paige, Tracey O'Neal & husband Sean, Brent Harvell, and Brandon Harvell & wife Jennifer; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. Doretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Frank Lacina Sr.; Son: Frank Lacina Jr.; and grandson: John "J. J." Taylor Jr.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Funeral Home. The funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City with Rev. David Pate officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be: Bryan Lacina, Sean O'Neal, George Villa, Eric Weathers, Josh Weathers, Brent Harvell, Brandon Harvell, and Jake Taylor.

In Lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the American Heart Association, 10060 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77054.
