Donna Cole Kelso, from Blessing, Texas, passed away from pneumonia, on July 9, 2018. She was 74 years old.  She was born on November 13, 1943 in Highlands, Texas.

She was retired from Dow Chemical as a Safety Consultant and spent her retirement RV-ing and working as a Pipeline Safety Consultant. She was a hardworking and very independent woman. She had an adventurous spirit and was an avid animal lover.

Donna is preceded in death by her mother – Lester Lindsey Knight, dad - Albert Cole, step-mom Lois Cole, her son – Darrell Janak, and nephew – Larry Monticolo.

She is survived by her daughter – Denise Janak, granddaughter – Courtney Romine and husband John Romine, grandson – Dayton Leissner, great-grandchildren – Layton Leissner, Cora Romine, and Pierce Romine, her sisters – Bonnie Caraway, Connie Cole, and Betty Smith, brother – Michael Cole, cousin Darla Morgan and her dear friend Joe Lee Evans.

Her service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, Texas.
