Obituary

Donald Ray Justice, 79, of Sweeny Texas passed away January 12, 2021. He was born September 19, 1941 in Tolleson Arizona to the late Duard Justice and Louise Neuman Justice.

He will be remembered first and foremost by his faith and love for his family. He was a continual reminder of Christ's love as he walked in light and forgiveness. Many were saved as a direct result of his knowledge and candor. He never took a moment for granted, and always reflected God's love. We are forever grateful to have called this strong and faithful servant our family.

For 59 years, he was devoted to his business, Justice Sand. There was no job too small and no challenge too big for him to tackle. He gave everything he had each day to succeed. He outworked most men, laughed often, and built a legacy in between.

He will forever be remembered for his childlike sense of adventure. His joy was on display every time he was behind the wheel of any off-road vehicle. Age was never a factor. He was always determined to show up anyone who dared him. From taking his 9-year-old grandson bungee jumping, to white water rafting, he took every bit of joy there was to find in life. His favorite catch phrase was "JUST GAS IT"! He didn't know how to back down. Nothing gave him more excitement than to share this passion for life with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was strong, resilient, and unshakable.

The love he showed to his family will never compare to the love he had for his beautiful wife Doyleen. During their 60 years of marriage, God's love and mercy was woven all through it and was viewed by all as the perfect marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Doyleen Lee Coston Justice; daughters Dianna Hales and husband Kenny Hales; Shelly Weeks and husband Bret Weeks; Julie Surber; Paula Grizzle and husband Jay Grizzle; sisters Christine Brooks and Mary Ann Starns; grandchildren Jered Hales and wife Lindsey Hales, Jennifer Brown and husband Andrew Brown, Holly and Brittany Weeks, Brody and Luke Surber; great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Crosby Hales, Elliott, Everett and Emerson Brown, and Brynlee Ashcraft.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Duard Justice, Jr., Glen Justice, Delton Justice and Patsy Zenker.

Visitation will be from 1PM until 2PM Friday, January 15, 2021 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Friday at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
