Dolores Marie Wallis, 85, of Palacios, TX passed away January 13, 2016. She was born June 30, 1930 in Houma, LA to the late Houston Eschete and Libby Blanchard Eschete.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Maxwell Wallis in 2010 and two brothers Clayton and Arnold Eschete.

Survivors include daughter Gwendolyn Wallis Williams and husband Duane of Lake Jackson, TX.; sons Craig Alan Wallis and wife Linda; and Keith Howard Wallis and wife Sandra all of Palacios, TX.; brother Norris Eschete & wife Shirlie of Houma, LA; grandchildren Tyler Williams and wife Lanise of El Campo, TX.; Hilary Williams Holcomb and husband Randy of Trophy Club, TX.; Katie Williams of Plano, TX.; Kyle Maxwell Wallis and wife Andrea Wallis of El Campo, TX.; Courtney Wallis Kenner and husband Jeff of Weston Lakes, TX.; Alston Ryan Wallis and Kelsey Cerie Wallis of Palacios, TX and great grandchildren Riley Elizabeth and Abby Nicole Wallis of El Campo, TX., Halle Grace, Landry Maxwell, Ansleigh Kate and Asher William Holcomb of Trophy Club, TX, Weston Lane Williams of El Campo, TX and Whittney Leigh & Brooks Kenneth Kenner of Weston Lakes, TX.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 4PM until 6PM Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios, TX. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Janak, Rev. Michael Rother and Rev. Brian Heyer officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Williams, Kyle Wallis, Alston Wallis, Jeff Kenner, Randy Holcomb, David Eschete and Clay John Eschete.
