Dolores Perez, 93, of Bay City passed away March 31, 2009. She was born Sept. 15, 1915 in Beaumont, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Bay City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rosalio Perez; sisters Cayetana Guanajuato & Zolia Barron; brothers Joe Lozano & Carmel Lozano and sons-in-law, John Perez & Joe Alaniz. Survivors include daughters Mary Perez of Victoria, Modesta Davalos (Timoteo) of Markham, Marcella Guerrero (Frank) of Houston, Janie O'canas (Joe) of Markham, Faustina Alaniz of West Lake, LA, Rose Gutierrez (Candy) of Sweeny, Mona Ordonez (Paz) of Clute, Nat Garcia (Erasmo) of Pasadena, TX & Helen Mirelez (Morris) of Bay City; sons Pedro Perez (Rosie) of Markham and George Perez (Margaret) of Bay City; sister Mary Louise Rodriguez of Markham; brother Paul Lozano of Bay City and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Wednesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paz Ordonez, Jr., Eddie Garcia, Jr., Martin Mirelez, Nick Gutierrez, Ponce Perez, Joe Alaniz, Jr., Chris Davalos, Sr. and Felix Perez.
