Dolores L. Ramos, Jr., 90, of Bay City passed away April 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 17, 1928 in Mackay, Texas to the late Dolores Ramos and Maria Louisa Luna Ramos.

He was preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Ramos, son John Louis Ramos, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Survivors include daughters Herminia Rodriguez (Joe), Margaret Ramos, Mary Ramos and Elizabeth LaViola (Jeff) all of Bay City; sons Joseph Ramos (Letisia) and George Ramos of Bay City and James Ramos (Genevieve) of San Antonio; sisters Mary Silguero of Lake Jackson and Luteria Ramos & Manuela Garces both of Houston; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Schneider, Jose Longoria, Ritchie Sanchez, John LaViola, Tony Rodriguez and William Longoria.
