D.J. "Little Jack" Huebner, 87, of Bay City, Texas passed away Tuesday March 10, 2015. He was born July 19, 1927 in Bay City to Marcus Dudley and Willie Belle Hurst Huebner.

Jack served his country in WWII in the Navy and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2438. He was a rancher and lifelong resident of Bay City, Texas.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents and wife Geraldine Huebner. He is survived by his daughters Audrey Garrett and husband Mike of Oyster Creek, TX and Karen Thompson and husband Billy of Bay City; sons Dudley Huebner and wife Karen of Bay City and Russell Huebner and wife Theresa of Oklahoma; sister Mary Louise Frazier; grandchildren Sarah Cerny (Brent), Stephanie Huebner, Erica Shufflebarger, Matthew Huebner (Jessica Pennington), Kelly Callais (Marcial), Amy Furrh (Mike Yates), David Mitchell (RaeAnn), Kasey Schexnider, Brittany Orsak (Carey), Heather Davant (Ted), Tyler Cox and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Thursday March 12 from 5-7pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Bay City, TX. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday March 13 at Calvary Baptist. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers are Marcus Frazier, Hollis Frazier, Johnny Glick, Noel Orr, David Orr and Scotty Glick. Honorary pallbearers are Wm. A. Orr, Jr., Lyndel Gillespie, Mike Garrett, Jack Cole and Ralph Cole.
