Dioniscia C. Torres, 90, of Markham, passed away on January12, 2019. She was born June 27, 1928 in Los Fresnos, TX to Eluterio and Guadalupe Silva Cruz.

Dioniscia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, cooking for them and going fishing.

Dioniscia is preceded in death by her parents; husband Raul; daughter Maria Celia Torres, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving family. Children, Dora Martinez, Mary Avalos, E. Torres, Diana Clark, Sandra Vargas, Selina Suarez, and Pat Torres. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tino Jr., Angelica, Marissa, Rosemary, Cindy, Chris, Albert Jr., Gilbert, Danny, Louis, Ashley, Victoria and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Juan and Eluterio, Jr., and sisters Betty, Olivia, Nena, Gloria, and Eloisa.

Visitation will be 5: 30-8:00pm Thursday, January 17 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Services are 10:00am Friday, January 18, 2019 at Abundant Life Church in Bay City with Rev. Steve Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
