Derreck Thomas Salas, passed away into the arms of the Lord on Thursday November 4, 2021, he was 41. He was born on December 8, 1979, to Eugene and Retta Salas.

Derreck was a lifelong resident of Markham, where he will be remembered fondly by many. He was always up for a good conversation and quick to offer a helping hand to any family, friend, or stranger. Derreck worked hard as a mechanic and helping local farmers. Derreck enjoyed hanging out with his family and picking on his nieces and nephews, who will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his dad and mom, Eugene and Retta Salas, brothers Dewayne (Cierra), Matthew (Ashley), Lance (Megan), and his nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be private.
