Dennis Wayne Hodges, 50, of Red Oak, Texas passed away Jan. 19, 2010. He was born Dec. 13, 1959 in Texas City, TX to the late Orville Andrew Hodges, Sr. & Francis Lewis Hodges. He was a 1977 graduate of Van Vleck High School and later served in the US Navy. Dennis currently worked at the Old Brick Yard Golf Club in Ferris, Texas and formerly employed by Zachary Construction as a safety technician. He loved his son, cooking and golf and had a great personality and sense of humor.

In addition to his parents his brother Orville Andrew "Andy" Hodges, Jr. preceded him in death. Survivors include his son Dustin Wayne Hodges; step-daughter Melissa Krause; former wife Nancy Cox; siblings Cynthia Ann Jones & husband Jay and Jerry Glenn Hodges and wife Crystal; nieces Christine Salinas & husband Pete, Amy Kirby & husband Jason, Jill Bermudez & husband Manuel, Dawn Hodges, Kimberly Jones and Rachel Hodges; great nephews & nieces Christian Salinas, Paige Salinas, Brason Salinas, Landon Salinas, Aiden Salinas, Kaile Kirby and Ava Hodges.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck with Pete Salinas officiating.
