Denise LaNell King, born June 3, 1970 in Palacios, Texas to Donald Lee and Mary Jane (Jenkins) King. She passed away March 31, 2017 after a long battle with seizures that finally took her from us. She lived each day knowing it may be her last. She is preceded in death by her infant sister, her brother Donnie King and her father Don King. Her grandparents Myrtle (Rose) and Lee Jenkins of Palacios and Velma & Arthur Lee King of Rosevine, Texas. She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane (Jenkins) Follis and stepdad David Follis, Sr., her children, son Andy King of Rockport, daughter Jodi Borak of Indiana, one grandson, Brenden Michael King, brothers David Follis, Jr. (Misty) of Jennings, Louisiana, Joseph and Jeremy King of the Dallas area, stepsisters Tracy Follis & Holly Woytasczyk of Victoria. One niece and four nephews, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Rush officiating. Burial to follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 8:00p.m. Tuesday at the Palacios Funeral Home.
