Della Mae Polensky Tucker passed away August 19, 2007. She was born May 20, 1926 in El Campo, TX to the late Louis and Mary Cerny Polensky. She had been a resident of Bay City for over 40 years.

She is survived by six children and their spouses Linda J. and Joe E. Frost, Sr. of Bay City, Larry L. and Susan Tucker of Lake Jackson, Glenn K. & Monica Tucker, Diane M. Broussard, Marilyn K. & Rocky Thornton and Wayne K. Tucker all of Bay City; sister Rose Polensky Tomek of Bay City; grandchildren Virginia Sabrsula, Elizabeth Morrow, Joe E. Frost, Jr., Carolyn Sykes, Donald Tucker, Duane Tucker, Lisa Crocket, David Tucker, Jody Tucker, J. R. Tucker, Ray Tucker and Alan Tucker; seventeen great grandchildren and six great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jodie Lige Tucker.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Frost, Jr., Alan Tucker, Donald Tucker, Duane Tucker, J. R. Tucker, Ray Tucker, Jody Tucker and David Tucker. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family will receive visitors from 7PM-9PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
