Della Helen Cowart, 93, of Bay City passed away January 27, 2016. She was born August 11, 1922 in Weimer, TX to the late Cyril Sassin and Annie Dobecka Sassin.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Miles Cowart and grandson Robert Proctor. Survivors include daughter Beatrice Ann Proctor of Inez, TX; sons Arland Clint Cowart & wife Jane of Beeville, TX and Ron Cowart & wife Sandra of Bay City; 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 9AM until 11AM Monday, February 1, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City. Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Palacios Cemetery with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Sassin, Allan Sassin, Ronnie Sassin, Ronald Cowart, Jr., Michael Proctor and Thomas Proctor.
