Otha Dee Gray, Jr., 72, of Bay City, TX went to be with the Lord December 20, 2016. He was raised in Sanderson, TX by the late Otha D Gray, Sr. and Maudie Ellen Adkison Gray. He received his B.A. from Baylor University in 1966, and his M.S. in Mathematics from East Texas
State University in 1976.

Dee taught mathematics for 49 years, from 1966-2015 at Bay City Junior High School, Bay City High School and Wharton County Junior College. Dee was a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church of Bay City, Texas.

Dee is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanne Beth Gibbs Gray; children Barbara Ellen Gray Kunkel and her husband Curtis (Martin, TN), Dee Anne Gray Rivas and her husband Andrew (Dahlgren, VA); grandchildren Peyton Dee Rivas,
Cooper Phillip Rivas and Raven Olivia Kunkel.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Bay City beginning at 9:00am. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00am with Dr. Mike Zimmerman and Don Vickers (nephew) officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX. Pallbearers are Ronnie Vickers, Bryan Gray, John Riggs, Kent Riggs, Bick Gibbs, Travis Gibbs, Erick Frankson and Justin Sims. Honorary pallbearers are
Arthur Riggs, Bobby Kimball, Tommy Ellis, Bob Button, Allen Cumbie, Lee Edward Baca, Dick Walton, Ronnie Miller and the Deacons of First Baptist Church Bay City.
