Debra Leigh Arnett, 53 of Palacios, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Bay City. She was born February 27, 1954 in Columbus, MS to Russell Franklin Yeager, Sr. and Hazel Leigh Martin Yeager. She was a resident of Palacios since 1996 and was an instructor at the Texas State Technical College in Palacios.

She is survived by her husband: Fred Janise of Palacios, TX; her sisters: Jennifer McComus of Port Lavaca, TX and Pat Yeager of Ohio; her brothers: Russell Yeager, Jr. of Port Lavaca, TX and David Yeager of Palacios, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents: Russell F. Yeager, Sr. and Hazel Leigh Yeager.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Palacios Funeral Home in Palacios, TX with Rev. Don Kopecky officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Friendship Cemetery in Chickasaw County, MS under the direction of Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS (662) 456-3411.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Debra with the American Cancer Society.
