Deborah Rhodes Johnson was called home to her Lord peacefully Saturday, December 30, 2006. She was born May 4, 1950to the late Robert Regnald and Rosalai Rhodes Johnson. She was an officer in the Olivia Port Alto V.F.D., Inc. also an Elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Palacios, where she taught Sunday School for many years, also she was the Clerk of Section at First Presbyterian church. Survived by her husband, Galen Johnson of Olivia, Mother in Law Margaret Johnson, Son, Charles Regnald Johnson, II of Olivia, and Sisters, Diana Rhodes, Dauna Frankson and her husband, John and Darlene Biffel and her husband Wayne all of Palacios. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by daughter, Alison Fay Johnson and father in law, Charles R. Johnson and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church in Palacios, Texas with the Revs Andy and Janell Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Olivia Cemetery in Olivia, Texas. Pallbearers include David Kitner, Dan Furman, Richard Parish, Mike K. DeWitt, Douglas Kubecka, and John Behrens.
