David Gail Stonestreet, Sr., 74, of Blessing, passed away Monday, October 10, 2005 in Victoria, TX. He was born December 21, 1930 in Abbyville, KS to David and Ellen Copenhaven Stonestreet. He was a resident of Matagorda County for the past 21 years, was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electricians Local # 716 of Houston, TX and retired Industrial Electrician.

He is survived by his wife: Martha Waites Stonestreet of Blessing; son: David Gail Stonestreet, Jr. & wife Colby of Blessing; and grandson: Drake Lee Stonestreet of Blessing.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Arrangements with Palacios Funeral Home (361) 972-2012.
