David Hurtado, Sr., 49, of Dallas passed away Jan. 13, 2010. He was born Jan. 2, 1961 in Mexico to Fortino and Amado Fresnillo Hurtado.

He is survived by his parents; wife Rafaela Calderon Hurtado of Dallas; paternal grandparents Guadalupe Hurtado & Augustino Avila of Mexico; maternal grandmother Paula Mendoza of Mexico; daughters Jessica Hurtado & Soya A. Hurtado both of Dallas and Anna K. Hurtado of Bay City; son David C. Hurtado of Bay City; sisters Lilia Amezquita & Maria Elena Amezquita both of Bay City, Genoveva Hurtado of Mexico & Carmen Lopez of Dallas; brothers Fortino Hurtado & Antonio Hurtado both of Atlanta, GA, Guadalupe Hurtado & Sergio Hurtado both of Mexico and 1 grandchild.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 Am Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
