David A. Rivera, 36, of Bay City, Texas passed away on March 13, 2018 at Jeannie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. David was born on March 8, 1982 in Waukegan, Illinois to Delia Lara-Carrillo. David was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He always lived his life to the fullest and was always there for everyone, no matter who you were. He loved all and was loved by all whom had the pleasure of meeting David. He was an avid sports fan and was a huge wrestling fan. He also had a strong love for his faith and the Lord.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents Porfirio (Pilo) Lara and Maria (Chica) Lara. He is survived by his mother Delia Lara-Carrillo and Step-Father Nicholas Carrillo Jr.; Brothers Noel Lee Muniz, Michael Anthony Rivera, and Alexis Rivera: loving nephews, niece, aunts, uncles, relatives and countless friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives 4pm until 6pm followed by a rosary service from 6pm to 7pm at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Funeral mass will be 10am Monday, March 19, 2018, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City, Texas with Monsignor Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing, Texas.
