With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Darren Wayne Garza on May 6, 2025 at the age of 32, in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on January 24, 1993 in Bay City, Texas to Esmer Lopez and David Garza. He was a long-life resident of Bay City, Texas and a Certified Rigger. Darren had a heart of gold, always embracing others with kindness. He was forever ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, and his passion for cooking and exploring hot sauces was contagious. His love and compassion touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

To those who knew and loved him it was clear how much he adored his mother and how much joy he found in conversing about her with anyone who would listen. He never truly healed after the death of his mother at a young age. Darren loved being on the go even when he wasn't supposed to, but his generous heart, strong spirit and boundless love made him the most devoted friend. Darren was the loudest and friendliest person you could ever meet, he never met a stranger and somehow seemed to know someone everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all for his annoying yet contagious laughter and heartwarming phone calls.

Darren was proceeded in death by his mother Esmer Lopez and Stepfather Juan Garcia. He is survived by his sons Darren Wayne Garza Jr., Daelyn Garza and Caleb Munoz-Garza, his brothers Juan Miguel Garcia, David Garza Jr. and Damion Garza, his sisters La-Sette Garcia, Celeste Garza, Robin Garza, Leah Garza and Lyla Garza, his granny Gloria Lopez, his aunts Johnny Marie, Chella Flores, Teresa Gonzales, Bethany Garza, Ashley Lopez, Samantha Cassle and Deborah Rangel, his uncles Raul Valencia, Andrew Gonzales, Jimmy Garza, Johnny Lopez, and Brad Cassle, his father David Garza as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins that filled the many branches of his family tree.

Pallbearers include Juan Miguel Garcia, Raul Valencia Jr, Baby Christopher Alvarado, Gaige Gonzales, Dylan Lopez, and David Garza Jr. Honorary Pallbearers include Darren Garza Jr., Johnny Lopez, Daelyn Garza, Caleb Munoz-Garza and William Charles Boeker.

Visitation will be held at Taylor Brother's Funeral Chapel in Bay City Texas at 1 pm Tuesday May 13, 2025 with Funeral Services to follow at 2 pm with Sister Joy Limones officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas.
