Dan Matura, 69, of Bay City, TX passed away on August 29, 2017. He was born William "Dan" Matura on June 13, 1948 in Hollandale Mississippi, to Louis and Frances Applegate Matura. He had retired from his Oilfield Service Company where he committed almost 50 years to the industry. He was a loving and caring Husband, Father and Grandfather who touched the lives of everyone with his fun-loving disposition.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Felicia (Bunny) Matura, his son Tommy Matura and wife Jan Matura of Pearland, TX and his daughters, Leanne Matura of Bay City, TX and Kaylene Rodriguez of Kronenwetter, WI and step daughter Kim White and husband Tim White of Sweeny, TX. Grandchildren, Andrew Matura, Chealsey White, Triston Rodriguez, Ryan Abercrombie and Casidy Rodriguez, brother, Lester Matura sisters, Louise Lansford, Lois Guzman, Ruby Oros, Margie Sain, and Kathy Corporon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, J.D., Leonard, Orvel, Raymond Matura and sister Flossie Yoxtheimer.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 7 from 5-7 pm at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 8 at 10 am at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Matura, Triston Rodriguez, Ryan Abercrombie, Orvel Jr. Matura, Thomas Matura and Tim White. Honorary Pallbearers are Chealsey White and Casidy Rodriguez.
