Damon Wray Rutherford, Sr., 80, of Bay City, passed away April 10, 2017. He was born January 7, 1937 in Luling, TX to Robert and Florence Damon Rutherford.

Damon is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife Joy Lou Dye Rutherford; daughters Rhonda Y. Walker (Mark) of Sugar Valley, Pamela K. Colkitt (Dean) of Goose Creek, SC and Trina M. Kilbride (Robert) of Bay City; son Damon W. Rutherford, Jr. (Debra) of Renton WA; grandchildren Mark A. Walker, Jr., Rachel A. Walker, Katherine A. Rutherford, Alisha N. Milton (Ryan), Kameron Kilbride, Kayden Kilbride, Dawn M. Terzull (Damon) and Angela C. Carnicome (Andrew); great-grandchildren Ava Mae, Maddilyn Olivia and Katie Jean Terzull, and Andrew Carnicome, Jr.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, April 12 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00am Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Nichols Street Church of Christ with Glenn Organ and Matt Springfield officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers are Allan Brown, David Carroll, Robert Kilbride, Kameron Kilbride, Gregg Organ, Allen Walker and James Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Harvest House Volunteer and Elders, Nichols Street Church of Christ.
