Cresencia Longoria, 82, of Blessing passed away March 4, 2025.  She was born May 5, 1942 in Yorktown, Texas to the late Jorge Rodriguez and Hipolita Martinez Rodriguez.

Crescencia loved her family with all her heart.  She had a variety of passions that included singing in her church choir alongside her husband Sylvester, tending to her plants and flowers, was a skillful seamstress and enjoyed crocheting dresses for dolls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings and her daughter Margaret Ortiz.

Survivors include her husband Sylvester C. Longoria; sons Rene Longoria and his wife Amy and Louis Longoria and his wife Doris; brother Reyes Rodriguez; grandchildren Richard Longoria, Randy Longoria, Veronica Arnold, Amanda Longoria, Amy Cruz, Maleri Serna, Martin (Marty) Ortiz III, Marc Ortiz and fourteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Monday, March 10, 2025 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Richard Longoria, Randy Longoria, Marty Ortiz, Hank Serna, Bryce Serna and Trae Cruz.
