Crecenciana Martinez, 93, of Bay City passed away Monday, July 4, 2016. She was born May 19, 1923 in Donna, Texas to the late Daniel Martinez and Luz Palormas.

Crecenciana is preceded in death by her husband, Ysidoro Martinez; daughter Mercedes Martinez; son John Martinez; sister Marianna Hernandez and brothers Joe, Paul and Frank Martinez; She is survived by daughters Mary Ann Martinez, Lucy Diaz and Lydia Flores; sons Luke Martin and Ysidoro "Sam" Martinez; sister Cruz Garcia and Macaria Martinez; brothers Tim, Daniel, David, Refugio and Obed Martinez; grandchildren Joni Silva, Jennifer Vondra, Amy Martin, Leslie Jones, Chris Martinez, Celeste Alvarez, Katherine Vestal, Vicente Diaz, Jr., Adam Flores, Jr., Kimberly Norton, Jamie Flores and Johnny Flores; 28 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, July 7 at the funeral home. Services will be 10:00am Friday, July 8, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Alex Lopez officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Scottie Vestal, Johnny Flores, Jamie Flores, Rene Silva, Carl Vondra, Adam Flores III and Matthew Vestal.
