Funeral services for Craig Zimmerman, 80, of Bay City will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2010 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Zimmerman assisted by Dr. Donnie Melton officiating. A private entombment will take place later.

Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Friday, August 13, 2010 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. There will be a visitation from 5pm to 8pm Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.

Craig was born June 14, 1930 in Sinton, TX to Elmer Daniel & Ella Cantwell Zimmerman. Craig was a longtime funeral director in the Rosenberg area and has been with Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home for many years as well as working at Taylor Bros. part time. Craig passed away August 11, 2010 in Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Olliff Zimmerman; son James Craig Zimmerman and his parents.

Craig leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife Betty Sanchez Zimmerman of Bay City; sons Michael Zimmerman & wife Julia of Bay City & Dan Zimmerman of Bay City; daughter Shelby Nicole Zimmerman of Bay City; daughter-in-law Beth Zimmerman of Taft; brother Kent Zimmerman & wife Margaret of Conroe; grandchildren Craig Zimmerman of Beeville; great grandchildren Damian Zimmerman of Beeville, Conner Zimmerman of Sinton & Allister Zimmerman of Sinton along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends who all love him dearly.
