Constantino "Cacho" Corona, 60, of Palacios, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He was born March 11, 1959 in Mexico, to the late Santiago Corona and Maria de las Nieves Calderon. He was a shrimper for many years of his life.

He is survived by his daughters, Desarie Gonzales, and April Corona; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Zavala, Hilda Amparo Corona Calderon, Reyna Corona Calderon; brothers, Honorio Corona Calderon, and Martiniano Corona Calderon; brother-in-law, Pablo Tavera Machuca; niece, Keila Paloma Esparza Corona; grandchildren, Eric Alexander Ortega, Lissandro Cavani Yax, Jazlyn Marley Barrios, and Angelika Juliana Barrios. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive visitors from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Palacios Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 6pm.  Mass will be 10am Thursday, January 23, 2020 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios, Texas. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery.  Pallbearers for Cacho will be Eric Alexander Ortega, Jose Yax, Tony Zavala, Freddie Zavala, Mauro Gonzalez, Tono Corona, Antonio Zavala, Martiniano Corona Calderon, and Mario Alberto Rangel Corona.
