Connie Ruth Snyder, 76, of Richmond, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1948, in Memphis, Texas, to Onis Marion Gilbert and Viola Beatrice Gilbert.

Connie loved gardening and watching The Eagles on her computer. She loved painting and coloring, playing with her cats, puzzles, and driving around in the car.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Starlene Hill, Marion Gilbert, Charlie Gilbert, Kay New, Patsy Gilbert, Joe Gilbert, Donald Gilbert, Ronald Gilbert, Deborah Reed, and Shannon Sampley; daughter, Amy Adams; and grandson, Ian Adams. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Snyder; son, Philip Hamlin (Evett); daughter, Kimberlee Harvey (Vance); grandchildren, Brennen Harvey, Landon Harvey, Scott Sherrill, Derick Sherrill, Madison Hamlin (Christina), Mia Leszczynsky (Sander), Ashley Kocian (Stuart), and Olivia Adams; great-grandchildren, Maysen Kocian, Whitley Kocian, Weston Kocian, Amy Irene Sherrill, Michael Paul Sherrill, Gracie Lee Paschall-Sherrill, Peyton Troy Paschall-Sherrill, and Anna Paige Paschall-Sherrill; and over 20 nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Connie will be 1:00pm Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, Texas with Chris Webber officiating.
