Obituary
Clifton Neal Lowery, 58, of Van Vleck, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009. He was born December 9, 1950 in El Campo to Doris Sue Middleton Lowery and Joe Verne Lowery. He was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Bay City. He was a retired Operator from Phillips-Conoco in Old Ocean and a Vietnam veteran of the U S Army.
He is survived by his wife: Grace Heidrich Lowery of Van Vleck; his mother: Doris Sue Lowery of Bay City; a daughter: Brandy Lowery Holloway & husband Rhett of Blessing; and his brother: Clifford Lowery of Van Vleck. He was preceded in death by his father: Joe Verne Lowery.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
