Clay Don Suhler, Sr., 70, of Bay City passed away June 18, 2023.  He was born September 12, 1952 in San Antonio, TX to the late Warren Everett Suhler and Geraldine Carmichael Suhler.

He will always be an irreplaceable hero to his children, and the victim of every super-hero beat down by his one and only super baby of the 21st century (AKA Tre). He could tell a story like no one else. He was strong and so wise. He was kind, loving, and generous to those he cherished. To those he didn't cherish…he probably still doesn't like you. He had a one of a kind sense of humor and the quickest of wit. He was so loved and so feared by his children's friends. He enjoyed taking his sons to lay down number 11's with his '69 big block Camaro. He was a good man.

Survivors include his wife Linda Suhler; daughter Christan Diane Suhler; sons Clay Don Suhler, Jr. (Shellie) and Wesley Everett Suhler; grandson Tre Cervantes and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his doggies Jelly Belly , Bitey, and Lily.

A family gathering and memorial service will be held at a later date.
