Claude Hales, Jr., 75, went to be with his Lord Thursday, July 22, 2010. Claude was born Sept. 19, 1934 in Henderson, TX to the late Claude Columbus and Cassie Grisham Hales.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Marjorie (Jan) Cavallin Hales of Bay City; sons Gary Hales & wife Donna of Bay City & Kenneth Hales & wife Dianna of Needville; daughter Lori Murphree & husband Gary of Bay City; grandchildren Jered Hales, Chris Hales, Clayton Hales, Jennifer Brown, Kari Murphree, Amy Murphree & Sarah Murphree; brother James Hales of Houma, LA; and sister Connie Moore of Houma, LA. His sisters Doris Pounder and Wilda Moore preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends and relatives from Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Family Worship Center with Pastor James Guerrero officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
