Obituary
Clara Matura Griffin, 64, of Palacios passed away Jan. 8, 2007. She was born Oct. 30, 1942 in Bay City to Alfred G. and Goldie Hardy Carter. She had been a resident of Palacios for several years and volunteered for the Coast Guard.
Survivors include her husband Tom Griffin of Palacios; daughter Diana Lucas & husband Jeff of Canyon Lake, TX; son Victor Matura & wife Tari of Vicksburg, Miss.; and four grandchildren Mindy, Beverly, & J. C. Lucas and Lauren Matura. She was preceded in death by a grandson Victor Matura, Jr.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wed., Jan. 10, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Zach Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
