Laura Christina Hudson, fondly known to family and friends as "Christy", 43, departed this earth to be with the Lord on February 3, 2016. She was born on December 25, 1972 to Claude and Linda Hudson, of Bay City. Christy lived life to the fullest. She had a big heart and a caring soul. She knew how to make you laugh and her friends said that "If she didn't make you laugh, there was something wrong with you." She had a personality that drew you to love her immediately. She had a quick wit and a sassy comeback for every situation. She went from being a city girl to being one that loved the country life and animals of which she had many. Christy led an adventurous life. She kept everyone amused and entertained with her antics and escapades on the farm from snakes in the house, to huge spiders, to being attacked by a renegade goose. And let's not forget "Pudge", her wild pig. She finally found true happiness when she met Tommy Johnson, the love of her life.
Christy was preceded in death by her father, grandfather, Adolph Janssen, paternal grandparents, Edward & Aline Hudson, aunt Patricia Sellers, and her great uncle, Otto Janssen.
She is survived by her mother Linda Hudson of Bay City; 2 sisters Shelly Hudson of Clearfield, Utah and Traci Myers & husband Lynn of Temple, TX and her fiancé Tommy Johnson. She also leaves behind 2 nephews whom she adored, Erik and Wyatt Myers of Temple, TX, her loving aunts and uncles, Charles & Gail Bass, Karen & Mike Talasek, Sandra & Simon Zalman, Paula Hendrick, David Janssen, Eddie & Brenda Hudson, Theresa Hudson and Robert Hudson along with numerous cousins and more wonderful friends than you can imagine.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, February 8, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
