Christopher Scott Carr, 56, of Bay City passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008. He was born October 24, 1951 in Bay City to Thomas T. "Tony" Carr and Joyce Aloyise Davis Carr. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City and a member of the Lutheran church.

He was a veteran of the US Army "Green Beret" Special Forces as a Medical Supervisor and received training and education at Wharton County Jr. College; University of South Alabama, University of Houston, University of Northeast Louisiana, and San Jacinto Jr. College. He was also a former Shift Security Lieutenant at the South Texas Nuclear Electrical Generating Station.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann Carr of Knoxville, TN; by his daughter: Sarah Jane Carr and son-in-law: Gregory Thomas Schafer of Bay City; by a son: Christopher Adam Carr of Bay City; by his mother: Joyce Carr of Bay City; his step-son: John Thomas Morrison of Powhatan, VA; and his granddaughter: Isabelle Ruth Schafer of Bay City. His father, Thomas T. "Tony" Carr, preceded him in death.

The family will receive visitors from 4 PM to 6 PM Monday, February 4, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. He will be cremated.
