Christine Elizabeth "Shelby" Franzen, 38, passed away on February 6, 2012 in College Port, TX. Christine was born on August 21, 1973 in Union City, Indiana, daughter to Sam Shelby and Gail Shelby. Loving wife, daughter and mother.

Survived by her husband Thomas Franzen; son, Samuel Fulton, daughter, Elizabeth Dannels; mother, Gail Shelby, father, Sam Shelby; sister, Melissa Shelby; step-sister Karen Holub; step-brother, John Shelby; mother and father-in-law, James and Ann Franzen; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family received visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at College Port Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Merck, John Shelby, Sam Shelby, Wesley Franzen, Derril Franzen, and Micah Glover.
