Christina Garza Martinez-Lopez, 45, of Bay City passed away Sept. 13, 2009. She was born April 5, 1964 in Bay City to Santos & Genevieve Flores Garza.

Her father preceded her in death. Survivors include husband Pedro Lopez of Bay City; Mother Genevieve Garza of Bay City; daughters Leticia Alvarez & husband Ezekiel and Kimberly Martinez all of Bay City; sons Mark Garza & wife Emily and Lupe Martinez all of Bay City; sister Patricia Charles of Bay City; brothers Joe John Garza of Angleton, Lupe Garza, Ismaelle Garza, Rene Garza, Israel Garza and Chris Garza all of Bay City; grandchildren Andrea & Alexis Alvarez, Mark Garza, Jr., Adajia and Jayden Garza.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Her brothers will serve as pallbearers with her sons serving as honorary pallbearers.
