Cheyne Ashley Etie, 41, passed away June 12, 2024.  He was born June 2, 1983 in Wharton, Texas to Louis and Mary Etie.

He was a graduate of Abilene Christian University and worked for United Health Care Insurance as a Software Engineer.

He is survived by his wife Caitlin Rose Sims Etie; his parents Louis and Mary Etie; brother Dustin Etie and his wife Morgane; nieces Peyton Etie and Kailyn See; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Perry and Audrey Sims; sister-in-law Maddie Sims Bishop and her husband John Bishop; nephews Aaron and Maxwell Bishop and brothers-in-law Joshua Sims and Fiancé Maddie Thannum and Tanner Sims.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Nichols Street Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Harvest House Food Ministry; 2204 Nichols Ave; Bay City, TX 77414.
