Cheri Denise Bissett Batchelder, 56, of Edna, TX passed away May 22, 2016. She was born September 16, 1959 in Port Lavaca, TX to the late Wesley Bissett, Sr. and Clarice Bissett Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Batchelder. She is survived by her daughter Holly Thomas and husband David; sisters Deborah Westbrook & husband Gary and Carol Browning & husband Darwin; brother Wesley Bissett, Jr. & wife Tammie; grandchildren Kyle & Chloe Thomas and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wesley Bissett, Jr., Gary Westbrook, Darwin Browning, Wesley Batchelder, David Thomas, Sr. and Brian Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Batchelder and Kyle Thomas.
