Obituary

Charlotte Lee Taylor Miller, 75, of Bay City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1951, in Bay City, Texas, to the late Don Jean Taylor and Bobbye Smith Taylor.

Charlotte married Ronnie on August 21, 1971, and they were married for 54 years. Charlotte was known for her expressive spirit. She always had her hands in a project, from beading almost every item she touched to picking out new fabrics to make pillows. No matter what project she took on, she brought new life to it, and she always wanted to share that creativity with others. Every person she met felt that creativity and kindness. She will be remembered for the wonderful woman she was, and she will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious infant son, Shaw, and her sister Wickie Ashcraft.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie; sister Donna T. Sliva & husband Steve, all of Bay City; children Shannon Yates, Jean Miller, Clark Miller & wife Shelley; grandchildren Caity Yates, Melody Koliba & husband Dylan, and Hanna Miller; great-granddaughters Renley Miller and Lillian Koliba.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2026 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Taylor Bros. Reflection

My mom was a loving and kind person.  She was the best of us all, never quick to anger.  She loved her family & friends, especially her grandbabies.  I know the girls will miss her love and guidance tremendously.   It was a shock to lose her so suddenly, but I'm very thankful for the time I got to spend with her most recently.  I loved to make her laugh, and the best way to do that was to tell her a story evolving my dad.  Her favorite was about my dad & The Rosetta Stone.

I want to thank everybody for your support and sympathy while we navigate this new direction in life without her.
